Scorekeeping

All golfers are responsible to provide a complete, accurate and signed scorecard to the scoring committee at the end of their rounds in order for the scores of each golfer to be officially counted. Failure to do this may result in penalty or disqualification. 

Procedure

Prior to starting the round, each tee group must designate an individual to record scores on a printed scorecard and another individual to enter scores into the mobile app. Both forms of scoring are required from all groups!

At the conclusion of the round, each tee group must turn in ONE scorecard that meets all of the following:

• Handwriting must be clear and legible. 

• Each golfer's name shall be written in the format; first name, last name initial.

• The tee box played by each golfer must be indicated on the scorecard as either; (S) Standard, (F) Forward, (B) Back, (SS) Super Senior or (W) Women. No exceptions.

• Each hole for each golfer must have a score. Nine hole or 18 hole totals are not needed.

• Each golfer must sign the scorecard.

Any scorecard not meeting the above requirements will be rejected and all of the players in that group will be DISQUALIFIED! If a scorecard was signed by only some of the players, then the player(s) not signing the scorecard will be disqualified.

Each tee group must also record the scores for all of the tee group players in the Golf Mobile Network mobile app. However the written scorecard turned in is the OFFICIAL score for all of the players in the tee group. Any score differences between the two must be worked out by the group prior to turning in the written scorecard to the scorer. Once the written scorecard is turned in, no changes to the scorecard will be allowed, except for clarifications requested by the scorer.

Each member of the tee group is responsible to check and confirm that a scorecard has been turned in on their behalf. It is highly recommended that each tee group member be present when the scorecard is given to the scorer in the event of questions about the scorecard. Do not assume that someone else has turned it in for you.
